Soybean hot dehulling is an important process for the whole soybean oil mill.
Its hull is mainly fiber. By removing the hull, the oil will be paler in color, blander in taste, less soybean intrinsic flavor and better quality in other index. The cake will be higher in protein percentage, more nutricient for animal feed.
Our hot dehulling process starts from measuring, sieve cleaning and destoner.
After cleaning beans go to vertical conditioning tower where the beans are heated slowly to 60 degree. Along the heating process the moisture migrates to surface the hull. At this stage hot air blowing will increase the temperature of hull, making it dry and detached from soybean kernal. Then the beans go through crack where the beans are cracked into four pieces.
During cracking big part of hull is broken and separated from kernel. Then the mixture of kernel and hull go into a vertical separator connected to an aspirator. The sucking force takes away hull. This separation process repeat after the first vertical separator.
The sucked hull is sent to a swing sieve to separate small broken kernel carried away in hull. Kernel goes to flaker. The hull separated in sieve is send to the third vertical separator connected to the third aspirator. By then the whole hot dehulling is completed.
Kernel after flaking is sent to expander then solvent plant.
